About Dr J Guo

MB ChB, Ph. D, Dip. TCM, ATCM, FSNAE, BFA

I trained and graduated in China from Chongqing medical school and am qualified in both Conventional (MBChB) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dip.TCM). After obtaining my medical degree in 1982, I practised both Conventional and Chinese medicine in hospitals for over 10 years.

After reaching the level of a senior physician, I undertook further training in acupuncture and taught acupuncture in the hospital. I came to England to read a PhD in drug analysis at Loughborough University in 1998.

My background thus enables me to integrate the philosophy of traditional Chinese methods with conventional Western medical practises to provide a fuller understanding of your health and medical conditions to provide proper treatment.

I have practised medicine for over 30 years and have lived in Loughborough for over 2 decades. My primary goal is to provide the best possible service for local people.

I am a registered member with a number of professional organisations and I am also listed in the NHS directory.
